Our winery was estabilished in Apulia in 1950 by a vine grower, Giovanni Losito. Because of his passion for this work, he planted vineyards in various areas of Apulia; in 1960 he finally chose to place them only in northern Apulia, the better suited area to develop this activity. Currently the company is run by his son, Leonardo, who is developing an ambitious quality improvement program that involves both the vine aspects, with a selection of the best local grape varieties, both the winery aspects, innovating production processes and developing new wines more suited to the tastes and trends of contemporary society. Our vineyards are located in the countryside of Foggia: they have an extension of 46 hectares, of which 33 are in production, conducted in certified organic agriculture. A new winery is under construction, surrounded by a small forest of pine and cypress trees that give the winery the characters of naturalness, attention to environment and culture of the pleasure of wine tourists in particular.

At first sight it seems just a wine glass, but if you look closely at its shape, unusual for a regular wine glass and with a non-perfect linearity of the lines, you can see that it is also a stylized vine! It wants to communicate one of the fundamental traits of our company: unlike many wineries, that have very few vineyards because they prefer to bottle wine from others' vineyards, we know our wine very well because it is accompanied from its training on the vine, during its development, until the stabilization, in a journey that starts from our vineyards and ends in the bottles. This allows us to adapt and apply viticultural and winemaking techniques that express the typical characteristics of the territory in our wines. The logo on the bottles has flaming lines because it indicates the passion that allows us to continue and invest in this not-exactly-easy work, and the passion that our wines can give you in every area of life. Despite the flaming lines, with our label we want to communicate the freshness of the intent of our company to contribute in giving a new and better image for the Apulia wines, which is why we also participate in the international project "Puglia Destination". To the question "In your opinion, what does our logo represents and what communicates to you?", our followers have replied in many different ways: for example, some have felt a positive feeling of openness, some have felt a both human and physical warmness coming from the wine, some have seen the letters LVC (Losito Vigneti e Cantine = Losito vineyards and wineries), someone has seen DNA too!
